I have lost another HTPC due to a faulty psu and same old story of failed capacitors on the motherboard.

So I am now thinking about Mini-ITX but I just do not know where to start

I would like the possible build to do this:

Windows 7 ultimate
Media Centre recording
Black Gold PCI-E TV card (not sure which yet)
Strong on-board video chipset (Radeon based would be good)
Small itx case

It must be able to record from a sky box via composite.
Anyone able to throw some recommendations at me?

Budget depends but would like to keep it below £500...

Thanx :)

If your going onboard i would build it around trinity, its fairly powerfull for CPU tasks and far better graphics than the intel stuff out there today.

I have an SG05 case and its a surprisingly nifty bit of kit, small enough to shove in the boot if your off on a UK holiday/work trip but room for anything you would need, however if you can get a half height tv card this opens up some considerably smaller cases but last time i had a tv card it was the hottest thing in my case so the extra room may be required.
