Hi All,
This my first post on the COUK forums but I've been buying from them for a good few years now and have almost always received brilliant service.
Ok that's enough brown nosing, down to business. At the moment I have a bfg 9800 gtx+ and I was kind of thinking of an upgrade. I noticed that they're going cheap right now so I was considering an SLi setup but I only have 650w psu and to be honest I've tried sli in the past with 2 8800 gts' but found it a nightmare with settings and drivers and the like which has kind of put me off SLi systems on whole. I defiantly prefer single card systems.
I was on the verge of getting a GTX 280 thinking it looked to be a pretty solid card and I may be able to future proof myself for a while yet but then came across a few vague forum posts and articles relating to the upcoming GTX 270 and 290.
So what do you reckon? Has SLi improve dramatically in the last year or so and will my psu be able to handle it or should I stick to my guns and wait it out for the new G206 cores and consider my options then.
Cheers.
