Any tips?

Thinking of trading my motorbike in for something similarly fun, but safer. SO i want 2009 Fireblade performance in a car for about £8k!

I will be buying a built one as i just don't have the space to build one, let alone the skill.

I think i would be better with a car engined one, as my garage is down a 25m drive, and may need to "back and forwards" and most bike engined cars don't have a proper reverse, and those that do i'm not sure would be reliable enough; but i'd appreciate feedback on this point.

I also need a wide one! I'm not fat(!) just big, and at 6ft 2 & 15 stone a wide body westfield (with wrap around seats) was too narrow - what are my options here? I know from a Westfield perspective a min of wide body, but the other brands - do they have wider models?

SO would appreciate tips, what to look for when viewing and guides as to whichh of the options (makes) are worth it and which to avoid.

Thanks,

I would have thought the budget wouldn't leave you with much in the way of choice? You might just have to go see what you can fit in from the available options first.

Is something like a vx220 turbo also an option?

Edit - turns out they're still a fortune anyway

Well, thats the target, could go to £10k, but that would mean sharing a bit the my father who lives a few miles away

I am 6'5" and had no problems with an MNR Vortx.

They now do a really good kit based on the MX5 as a donor, plenty of those rusting away now :)

If using for road and track, avoid the rose jointed models and stick with PU Bushes.

Bike engined is awesome for the track but they rally start to get annoying on the road. MNR do one of the best reverse boxes for bike engined if you go that route.
