THinking of buying another gig of ram.

I currently have 2gb with vista 32bit, as i know it dosent support 4gb, but this should recgonise 3gb right?

Also how easy is memory to install? to you have to put it in a certain slot or any of the two remaining?

Does adding more use a lot of power? My hiper 530w is already under enough strain with the 8800GTS, will this make it unstable?
