Hi all,

I'm thinking of buying the Nebula system you guys sell. I was reading the forum here and have a few questions regarding watercooling.

I've noticed on the description it says that it is has full custom watercooling. Also I noticed the graphics cards are water cooled too.

In the thread OcUK Systems Explained in detail https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18398862 I noticed a few people mention about maintenance of these water cooled systems. This will be my first water cooled PC. So what kind of maintenance is required? Is there any videos that show watercooled maintenance?

This is the only area I'm a little nervous about.

Thanks for any advice you guys can give.

General maintenance for a watercooling loop generally means draining and refilling the loop every 9-12 months to prevent any gunk building up. It's pretty simple when you're using the same fluid. Others may suggest when doing this to take the time to inspect the blocks for any gunk but with the coolant we have now and the plasticiser free/no leaking plasticiser tubing you probably can leave this :D

Thanks for the fast reply! :)

When you say coolant, is this special stuff we put in, or just water?

Also when the system arrives will it have the coolant in, or do I have to put it in?

Do we get coolant when the pc arrives or do I need to buy this extra?

Edit:

Also another question.. do the GPU's need draining too?

The system will have the coolant in and will be fully ready to run when it arrives.

The coolant is a special mix designed specifically for PC cooling. Nver use tap water.

I had my last watercooling build for two years and did almost no maintenance at all other than cleaning out the fans and topping up the coolant in the reservoir. Which is very easy.

I have sold systems to many customers who also dont do any maintenace passed what I just described. You really are worrtying too much. Buy the system plug in play your games.........

I really had to laugh at your response here 8 Pack :D! Haha.

But yes, he's right, don't worry so much, if anything happens in about 3 years it'll be on warranty anyway :)!
