Thinking of changing from a MacbookPro to an Air

Hey all

Thinking of selling my 2011 15 inch i7 macbook pro with a view to getting a 13 inch macbook air.

Basically I am after more portability with the air.

So wise move or not?

The Macbook is in perfect working order etc so it should be quite easy to sell on if I decide to go for the air.

Your opinions please would be appreciated?

Without hjacking, I am also thinking of changing from my 13" Pro and to change to a MBA 13" since I have an iMac as my main machine.

Noticable difference in loading times e.g boot up, program installation, boot down, opening programs, transfering files due to the SSD?

I have an i7 MBA and it is very quick, been great to use with photoshop and I think the ssd makes a huge difference.

I've been thinking about doing the same thing as I'm going back to uni soon. However, I like to play the odd game and love the anti-glare screen so I'm currently at a loss as to what I should do :confused:

I don't think I can warrant having both due to expense and I wouldn't want to make neither one redundant.

I would keep the Pro and stick an SSD in it and save money, although if you would be bothed about lugging the MBP around, Space/Weight go for the Air!
