I have a Pentax K3 and a few lens.

Although I'm happy with the camera its a pain to lug about all the time and I'm usually on foot for long periods when it's in use - granted it's hardly a brick to hold but still cumbersome.

I would greatly prefer a smaller footprint camera I can cart about but still have the ability to change lens if desired.

So, I'm thinking of trading in the K3 and lens and starting again - first choice is the A6000 however open to other suggestions.

Have a look at my deliberations here. I opted for the A6000 and a few selected lenses and to be fair I use the 18-105 PZ more often than the others which adds to the bulk (which you are trying to reduce!), but the kit lens still comes in really handy.

Funnily enough, it was that thread that made me decide to go with the A6000. Some places are doing the 16-50 and 55-210 combined at a decent price so went for that coupled with the 30.

I sold my Nikon D7000 with 4 lens, flash, Ect and got a A6000,was a bit worried to start with but glad I made the move, absolutely love the Sony, small enough to put in your coat pocket but more than good enough to take cracking photos.

Only using the 16-50 and 55-210,have 2 olympus lens with adaptor but tend to use the Sony kit lens more.

I'm glad the thread helped you as much as me :). How are you finding the 30? I'm thinking of getting some cheap extender tubes to mess around with even closer macro pictures!

There's a Sigma 30mm f1.4 coming soon if you want to wait for that. It'll probably be quite good.

It'll be interesting to read reviews on this, at f1.4 it's probably better than Sony's own (f3.5) and keenly priced too.
