thinking of changing to pc gaming

I've been planning for a while to change from xbox gaming to pc;)
just need a bit of advice on what sort of spec pc I would require. i want to play games like black ops, far cry battlefield etc.

Just not sure what on spec i have been looking at the itx but don't no if atx would be better for if i need multiple graphics cards.

any help would be great

hi its just tower its self got. got windows 7 os, got ssd drive and hard drive.
is the intel processor best to have?
got about 600 to spend.
i have been looking at the prodigy case which i like.
 
what cooler would be best to run in the prodigy case. think i am swaying to the prodigy case.
i have got a blue ray drive to stick in.
 
are these processors AMD A10-5800K any good for gaming. that's what i was looking at first so that i would have more for a gpu
 
change of plan I am going to do this build over a couple of months i think so i have got a bit more to spend.

I have decided on intel 2500k processor, gigabyte z77m motherboard, viper 8 gb memory, corsair gs 600 psu and the black prodigy case.

What gpu should I get I would like to be able to run games on max settings looking to spend between 200-300 pounds

the cooler i have been thinking of running is the corsair h100 what are peoples thoughts on this cooler is there a different cooler that you would choose?
