Thinking of getting a laptop.

Hey all.

I've been having some problems with my desk top pc and i'm thinking of getting rid of that and settleing for a Laptop, this one in fact - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=LT-024-MS

The specs are really good for a laptop and its not massively over priced.

I play games like wow and TF2 i know theses games are not very graphics demanding but i'm going to try some new ones when they are released like the new star wars mmo coming out and some others. So it would need to keep up with them i dont want it to run everything of max setting just be able to run the games good enough to play with out the FPS sitting at 15ish.

I will be using this laptop for college (mature Student) and when i get home gaming and doing essays.

Could i connect a 22" monitor up to the laptop for gaming aswell as a keyboard and mouse? i'm thinking of sitting the laptop on my shleve and using the keyboard and mouse on my desk.

Many are going to say just buy another desk top pc but i want the freedom of being able to take it with me.

Yep, you'll be able to output to an external monitor and use peripherals instead of the integrated keyboard/touchpad.

By the way, although playing demanding games on high settings isn't a necessity in this case, you may as well know the 5870 is really up there in comparison to other GPU's. You shouldn't have too much trouble playing gamez.
