well, ive been using my nec 1760nx for god knows how long...and i think its time i treated myself to a new monitor...thinking ~£200 budget, possibly £250.

im guessing widescreen is where its at these days

(i assume this is a better place to ask than GH)

Got my belinea 22" up and running this afternoon, It's bloody amazing, can't reccomend it enough, makes a hell of a difference compared to the old 19" crt I used to use.

Ditto.

does it come with a vga-dvi adaptor, cos god only knows where the one is that came with my gfx card...and if it is anywhere....its at home...in a box somewhere that my dad wouldnt be able to find

I've just got hold of a Samsung 205BW today and I'm incredibly impressed with it.

20", 1680x1050, very attractive physically and I haven't touched the colours at all - they look just fine in my eyes right now, although I probably will have a fiddle before I get round to doing any graphical work on it.

Can be had for £200 in the high street and worth every penny.

It's 2" smaller than the Belinea, granted, but it's the same res and as such is pretty much pin-sharp compared to 22" monitors. Lovely bit of kit.

DVI & analogue and height & tilt adjustment too.
