the drivers I have to get to prevent stuttering in programmes and games. If its of any consequence, I plan to get an ATI graphics card (I heard Nvidia had additional driver dual core conflict issues).

Finding out as when spending money on the system, I dont want the machine to be limited by software, and want it to run as fast as possible, without the stuttering and bad cpu allocation issues I heard have plagued some people.

Thanks

Thanks, is there anything else I ought to know, or anyone who wants to explain anything else about what has to be done, or write a run through?

Thanks you two, for the quick replies.

another thing you may have to flash your bios to recognise a dual core cpu... depends on your mobo tho... most of the new ones u wont need to flash
