Thinking of going SLI

Is SLI really worth it?

I have a https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-064-GI and I'm thinking of going to SLI for the first time.

What are the pros and cons. Would games really benefit that much?

Question is do you actually need SLI/multi GPU? what resolution do you play at?

1680x1050. depends what im doing on the other monitor tho

samsung t220 22" and BenQ G2220HD LCD TFT 21.5

Also, what psu do you currently have?

For me the pros and cons are, higher frame rates and the ability to use higher levels of aa/af, cons, increased power usage and temps, though the latter can be easily sorted with decent case cooling.

You'd get a decent price for your 460 if you sold it. Add that to the cost of another one and you won't be that far off an equivalent one card solution. Plus you get less heat and power drain. Plus sli can take a bit more messing around to get working well.
