Cool, been looking at the service menu on the set but nothing seems to have any effect, wonder if you need to save it or somthing? For example there is an overscan setting when im using my dvd player on component...

That is excatly what I wanted to hear. I've got media pc on the HDMI input so the 360 will go nicely on the VGA then

Thats the thing though for me I actually prefer to run it at 1280x720 via the DTV mode (with the bit of overscan) since on mine the colours are a lot better then through the extended VGA option running at 1360x768. Did you fiddle around with the colour, brightness etc again after the VGA options were implemented? Because I was using the same ones as you and the DTV mode looks way better.

ATM im running 1280x720 on PC Mode (looks a bit clearer than 1360 to me) with 40 brightness and 92 contrast, colours arent as vibrant as DTV mode though, im still wondering whether or not to get an elite when that arrives for HDMI.
