Thinking of moving to mac

I'm currently a split windows (older games - red alert 2, wow etc) and linux user (everything else) looking to make the switch.

This has only come about with the mac's new intel chips that enable the use of windows xp and games when I should need it

Now, the price of a nice macbook pro (like my boss has) is also in the same kind of ballpark to a decent windows based laptop.

I'm a bit of a unix nerd and love OSX.

Anyone like me made the switch? how have you found it so far?

well, its basically the whole gaming thing - The games I play now are virtual pool hall (lol) quake 4, wow and steam based stuff.

My desktop PC is an AMD 3500+ GeForce 6800

under linux i just use cedega, does this exist for the mac?

might try and compile cedega from source then on my boss's macbook pro

either that or try and get an OSX style window manager
