Thinking of replacing my 5770

Hello all..well i had my ATI Radeon 5770 1GB DDR5 or a while now and on friday last week while cleaning my case..the fan cover of it fall off..it has been wobbly since i got it but no problems with it, great card..but now i'm looking for a replacement

i play games on full graphics are WoW/starcraft2 and will be getting black ops

was thinking of getting a 460 1GBDDR5 or the 768 DDR5...but i aint sure at the moment on what card i'll get and i aint sure on the make of card..or is there another card you suggest?

Ohh forgot to add price tags im looking at is £128-£140-£160 anything in those ranges you might advice me of getting.

HD 6850 and 1gb GTX 460 are the two cards I'd consider. Have a look through some review sites for both cards and then try and compare to see what stands out for your preferences.

The 1gb GTX 460 does seem the better buy slightly but as it's so close it would need the person buying it to weigh up what they want rather than myself telling you on my preferences.

If the card still works, then the cheapest upgrade that will yeald the most performance is to crossfire two 5770's.

Basically nearly 5870 performance, although with the added disadvantage of crossfire limitations.

But 2x5770 is better than a 460 or a 6850.

However at £160 you may be able to get a cheap 470....

theres the msi hawk 460 1gb which is clocked already very high, its about 5850 performance for £154, just picked one up myself

hope the MSI one stays there then get payed friday and i might get the MSI over the 5770..as i did say was thinking of replacing xD

i doudt i'll get this card on friday..so any other suggestion? and yes my card is playable..but the heatsink isent properly on at the mo..hanging by a thread i must say :S

Has to be the 470 at £164.99, best bang for buck in my opinion.
