Thinking of second hand LG C2. Is Curry's warranty transferable?

There is a 65 inch LG c2 local to where I live. It's 5 months old and the person wants £950 and not open to offers.

He states the Curry's warranty is transferable. Does anyone know about that? He also says it's 5 years.

Also any ideas on what tests I can link him to in order to check for stuck pixels and any other defects?

The reason I am asking is that I rung Curry's and the man said that it was not transferable but he didn't seem very knowledgeable. The seller did say that he had spoken to Curry's via chat and that it was transferable.

Just very confused and would only spend this much on something with warranty.

I did want to try and buy it this weekend if possible. Just nervous about this warranty.

When I have phoned up currys after selling, I have always said “I have given the TV to my brother/sister in law and need to change the ownership address” and they switch it there and then
