Thinking of this system. What about noise?

I have the antec 900 case and the fans are pretty much silent on low speed , i never have them any higher and my Q6600 is oc'ed to 3.6Ghz. I have an evga 8800gts 640mb inside and the loudest fan is on my silverstone psu , and thats only when i have been gaming for a while...

likes sucking the dust up though , should have called the case the antec dyson lol :p

Just bought this same system, so ill let you know once i recieve it, if your still interested.

Though, I didnt really like that Antec case so i went with the Coolermaster RC-1000 which actually has Sound Proofing on its panels (so ive read in reviews anyway).

Cool, same. So we should more or less get it at the same time ^_^

I'm not too fussed, Antec and Coolermaster are both fine brands. But after looking at a review of each case i prefered the simplier look if the RC-100 over the more open Antec. Plus the RC-1000 includes pre-fitted sound proofing on the panels so that should help to keep things quiet. Finally, i read that the Nine Hundred was a bit of a dust trap.

I noticed the Coolermaster has a cable management system so im interested to see if the system builders at OcUK make use of it or not. :) I've not had any pre-built systems for a while, and i couldnt see any reviews of the systems (in detail) like you would, say a urrm well another big brand, so how professionally they put the system together (not just a matter of stuffing stuff into a box, and if it works thats good and off it goes...) interests me, especially for future reference when recommending and of course, rebuying.

Unless you have the fans on full then its near silent, loudest fan in my old setup with the 900 was my CPU fan lol

What do you mean? Yes. It is loud?
