I've got Vista 64 Ultimate on my PC and since this install around 3 Months ago I've had a few small issues that I can't resolve.

So, thinking about Windows 7.

I mainly surf/download and play SupCom. Any major problems with this?

Where's the best place to download it from?

If I'm downloading and playing MP3's at the same time (can be off different disks etc) the sound and mouse stutters. The problem gets worse the longer the PC has been on. For the first few hours there's no problem but if I come back say 5 hours later it's jerk city.

I've tried every combination of drivers and installation methods, so given up.
 
I'm fairly sure that was an RC issue - have you not patched your Vista install with the Service Packs?
