Thinking of upgrading from 1080p to 1440p

Hello Guys,

I am thinking of purchasing a 1440p monitor, but would like to hear how much of an improvement it is from someone who has experienced both resolutions.

I currently have a Samsung s23a700d, and am very happy with the way it looks and feels. But I feel it is a little too small.

What do you guys think?

Massive improvement.

There are many reasons to go 1440p but I have said in other threads that the one thing that I enjoy the most is the extra desktop space - couldn't go back to 1080p at all now.

Games don't look half bad either!
 
I've used various sizes of monitors but after using my U2713HM for a couple of months it's really lovely to have multiple windows up. It's a great desktop experience. I run EVE-Online in window mode so browse, game and chat seamlessly - I don't think I could go back now without getting a bit frustrated.
