Thinking of upgrading my router

Hey guys and gals.

I was thinking of upgrading my router from a metgear N600 ( http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-195-NG&groupid=46&catid=1596&subcat= ) to something.... Better

At the moment I can only get a 2 bar signal on both the 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands and a lot of the time my network card (a tp-link 450mbps wireless card) will refuse to connect to the 5ghz band and the 2.4ghz band is shockingly slow. From my room. Not so much downstairs though. Also I know it's probably not the router but whenever I play on steam my connection drops :/

So anyway, I was thinking of this one: I saw it has good reviews:

Anyone got any suggestions?

If I hadn't of got my Netgear N900 then I would have chose one of them ASUS routers instead. Most people on here will recommend the ASUS router.
