Currently have a D80 which is doing me fine at present, but have the ithchy feeling of wanting to upgrade to a Full Frame format.

Will be sticking with Nikon as all the lenses i have so far are Nikon, which are as follows

Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC
Nikkor AF-S 50mm F/1.8G
Bog standard kit lenses

Pictures wise, am going to be taking a fair few landscape and cityscapes, particularly some ND water action (when I find some time)

Budget wise somewhere around the £1K mark and am happy to go second hand if it is worthwhile also

I don't think the sigma 10-20 will work properly on a FF camera so you'd be looking at 2 new lenses + the body really. The sensors on the latest aps-c cameras are really good, you'd get a nice improvement on the D80 now.

Second hand d700 falls within the budget but as above, the sigma lens wont work properly on it. I managed to get a used uk D600 that had less than 2k shots on it for £1075 so if you are savvy enough you can get a bargain.

Forgot that teh Sigma was specifically designed for DX format cameras......doh.

The D7100 looks rather tasty, will have a look at that and see what I can find.
