Thinking of watercooling

Looking into getting some water cooling for my PC. My rig isn't great for overclocking, but I've managed to get it from 2.0 to 2.4Ghz @ 1.575v on stock cooling and temps are 50oC under load. Don't really fancy pushing it anymore unless I get better cooling. Wouldn't want to spend more than £150 if I decided to go watercooling, and I've been looking at the following complete kits...

WaterChill Power CPU Cooling Kit - Dual 120mm Radiator/Fans

Swiftech H20-220 Apex "Ultra" Watercooling Kit

Like I said I'm looking into it at the moment as I don't really want to spend a lot of money on my rig. I'm gonna be building a new rig eventually but this probably won't be till aorund Christmas time. I'm kinda skint at the moment as I'm putting pretty much all my money away for my wedding and honeymoon which is... next weekend actually, forgot about that

Anyway which is the better out of the two and is it actually worth me watercooling my pretty lame rig or should I save money and just get HSF upgrade :confused:

£150 is a lot to spend on cooling, you may be better upgrading parts with that money. You could get yourself a 3700 Sab Diego and an Asrock Dual SATA-2 AGP and PCI-E board, sell your parts and treat yourself to some high end aircooling and you'd have a nice upgrade for under £150.

Yeh true. Was thinking about that but I want conroe for my next upgrade

Might stick with my original plan and go for the Sycthe Ninja. Probably won't get much more out my CPU, but 30 odd quid for the Ninja isn't that much of a loss if not.

Yeh been looking at the also. I like the idea that the fan sits in the middle of the heatsink. Been looking at the Gigabyte G-Power Pro also as this is supposed to be top notch too. Not sure which to go for now :confused:

Right ok, so the Gigabyte isn't recommended then? Probably go for the Tuniq, just like the idea of fan in the middle, looks neater too.
