Hi guys, I'm looking at upgrading some parts of my pc as im feeling its restricting me from playing games i really want to enjoy.

Now ive been told i may need to upgrade my Motherboard, Processor, Graphics Card and maybe my PSU..

My current specs -

Processor - Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10GHz
Video Card - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560
Memory - 8.2 GB
PSU - 500w (Not Sure on brand)
And not sure on what Motherboard i have..

I know im not much help with letting you guys know what i have and what you can suggest but any help would be great..

If im honest, i dont really have a set budget, but im not looking to go crazy with the price of things.. as i have a tight budget when it comes to my own money.

If you want a cheap boost to your system a new GPU would be the way to go. Either a 290(x)/960 or 970 would do wonders.

I would also suggest a PSU upgrade a 550-650 is fine for single card but if your looking at xfire/sli a 750-850 is needed. Depends what your future plans are.

That should come in around £300-£350, better value?

No real need to upgrade you CPU/motherboard yet. But it should be the next priority.

Thanks Doomedspeed, Thats what i was aiming for to be honest, just a cheap boost for now.. Any Specific PSU Recommendations?

Right, finally found all of my main PC Specs.. Been told my Motherboard is okay by a friend but if you think differently, dont be shy to say so :)

Hard drive - 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200 HDD

Processor - Intel Core i5-2400 Quad Core 3.10GHz

Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H 1.0 Intel® Z77 Express Chipset

Graphics Card - Zotac NVidia GeForce GTX560 1GB GDDR5

Disk Drive - Samsung SH-222BB/BEBE - 22x SATA DVDRAM/DVD+/-RW

Case - Coolermaster HAF912 Plus Black ATX Case - No PSU

PSU - Coolermaster Elite Power 500W standard ATX PSU

RAM - 8GB kit DDR3 1600 Crucial Ballistix Sport DIMM 240pin

All depends on your budget. I would say your CPU, board, and RAM are fine for gaming.

Get a CPU cooler and overclock it for a bit speed.

Add a SSD and upgrade the GPU.

Depending on which card you go for, you could get away with the PSU
