Hey,
Im running out of ideas trying to fix a laptop.
The model in question is an IBM R51 Thinkpad. The problem is that when i go into Sound and Audio devices in the control panel there is no sound device showing. So what i would assume to do is install drivers for it. Now i have been into the device manager and there is 3 audio devices, 1 Legacy audio codec and 2 "Audio Codec".
I have tried to un-install them, however there is no option, so i have tried to download some drivers from IBM, however when i install them it just completes and says everything is ok. However nothing changes, i get no sound, and no audio device detected.
Does anyone have any ideas?
