third party cable workaround?

is there such a thing for 7.1.x iOS devices


got a pile of third party cables that done want to work with my phone but work fine with my iPad which hasn't been upgraded.


any suggestions?

In what sense don't they work? I charge two iPhones running 7.1.1 using a 3rd party cable connected to my laptops USB and all they do is throw a warning on the screen, they both charge and sync fine.
