Used of course, but it's only a few quid more than what the cases tend to go for new which is what I'm wanting mainly, but do want to swap systems round to sell one on.

This is copied from the advert on the tree.

Case: Aerocool DS Cube
Motherboard: MSi Millitary Class 4 Motherboard
CPU: AMD Quad Core 3.8ghz - Athlon II x4 760k
Graphics: MSi Radeon 5450 1GB
DVD Re-Writer
No Operating System due to no hard drive
Wireless Keyboard & Mouse
USB3.0 technology
Selling due to upgrade

This does not include a hard drive or Ram

The guy had it up for £100, but will let it go for £70, it sounds good for a rebuild for a sale or it could be somewhat worth changing my haswell i3 with maybe.

wouldnt pay more than £70 for it but you will probably find your I3 is better. Dual core I3 beats dual core AMD and the only slight advantage you may have is in software that takes advantage of 4 cores but in games the I3 will be better. Radeon 5450 is no good for games. Althon II x4 is old tect that the Haswell I3 will beat anyday. Overclock I3 and it will pull away more. I would pass on it and just buy a new case.

Your I3 would be the better option instead the old Athlon II, also the video card is not good. Without RAM it does not look like a good buy even for £70. It would be a good option just to buy an used core i5 which will be compatible with your mainboard and you would have a great upgrade. Since you want it mainly for the case it could be ok to buy it for a lower price if the case is in a good condition and you would be possible to get money back from the other components after selling them but you would have to see the case first.

Thanks for replies but I ended up buying it yesterday for £70, took ram with me so I could test it and seems fine, the case is immaculate, can't fault any of it, the lad is a bit like you guys with his computers, so wouldn't doubt and got a free wireless keyboard and mouse.

Not worried about the 5450 as Friday I picked up a msi 750ti for £50 , along with a cx430(wanted an antec vp450, but guy messed about) and a hard drive, so other than getting ram it's all worked out, not entirely cheap for all, but no biggy.

I am questioning what to do now though as I swap parts round, the i3 might be better than the quad 760k, but the motherboard is a msi A78M-E35 military class 4 which looking at the spec sounds better than my asus H81M-Plus and the support list has a vast amount of options like the 860k and A10 7850K which might not be cheap to buy, but assume be better than the 760k or some A6 K processor.

The guys have already told you which is best. All this military class nonsense is just marketing bs. Your H81 board will take all Haswell, Devils Canyon and Haswell refresh cpu's so I don't know why you wasted money on all that. They are better than any of the options for the AMD board. From what you have spent on the AMD stuff you could have dropped a i5 into your H81 board. The CX430 is a terrible psu as well.

Lol thanks for the reply, but the cx430 are not that bad, used to have one before, but I have a 520w seasnonic for my system, what I purchased is for resale .

I'm not bothered about the military class stuff, the board just looked higher spec from the figures, if I wanted an i5 I would've got one, but I'm not that bothered about it, I've been hunting for a case for awhile and given these cases are like over £50 new buying one with stuff inside was a bonus, i don't do it for a living but every now and then I buy computers to rebuild or fix and sell them on or keep for myself, so this time I thought I would try make a decent gaming computer, just with the bonus of a nice case for my own usage.

I just wanted to make sure it was actually right in keeping the haswell setup before I properly fit everything. I am going to be doing odd back to back comparing once completed as I have a YouTube channel I sometimes upload to.
