this a good vantage score?

hey guys did a vantage score with a small OC of gfx card @790

this a good score? notice vantage is really different from 3dmark06.

what does this compare to GTX260?

Hmmmmm is my CPU score low? i'v seen dual core with higher score....

i pasted this example from a older thread. "8800GTX SLI, E6750 @ 3.2Ghz, Vista 64 bit

Overall Score : P13115
GPU score : 11366
CPU score : 24353"

its a good score for an ati card, nvidia are always ahead on vantage due to the physx support. however, it doesnt mean anything when playing games.

Yeh the CPU score is inflated by physx support.

They tend to be ahead for the graphics score as well. But as you said, unless the vantage engine gets used in an actual game its just a rough gauge.

As for the score, seems spot on.

but i still dont get why dualcore seem to get such high score in the CPU score or is it because i have ATI card ? sorry little confused

does this not mean that 3dmark vantage is a void benchmark if it allows CPU test to include GPU assistance?

on 8800GTS 640 OC2 SLI my mate got over 22K for CPU test, can i assume the GPU did the phyics calculation?

oh his pscore was over 11K
