This a viable upgrade?

Hey guys was wondering what sort of boost in performance i will get from an upgrade like this:

AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego 90nm (Socket 939) - OEM (CP-150-AM)

and

Asrock 939Dual-SATA2

My current spec is in sig, this upgrade will be cost around £200 or can anyone recommend anything better?

Wouldn't bother personally. Might as well wait for the new AMD socket and new dual core Pentium CPU's.

Looks good, but if ure current setup is ok leave it for some time and get something else good when its really needed.

The Athlon 64 3700+ is way faster than your current CPU & the Asrock board is quite good too, and as its AGP / PCIE it will also allow for graphics upgrade later on. A worthwhile upgrade as i see it.
