this an alright spec for sandybridge?

will more ram affect overclocking? if you put say 8gb into a sandybridge motherboard and ran it at 2133mhz will it affect overclocking? im sure the IMC is still on chip but you only use multi overclocking on 2500k 2600k.

questions questions

ps HAF X rocks and looks sweet, i have the little brother 912 plus and i think its like a black hummer h1.an agressive no nonsense tank look. im sure if this case could move it would get rid of that pansy red led fan and install the nightrider LED in a drive bay, then transform and pull out a gatling gun and mow down neighbours pets from the window.

The HAF series is excellent for air cooling. My 932 does a great job :) Just the annoying thing is the vibrations from the HDD cage.

For RAM overclocking, the more sticks you have, the more strain it will have on the memory controller. This will limit your overclock. Since you're getting 2x4gb, you'll be fine, but once you jump to 4x4gb, then you will need to relax your overclock.

I have a watercooling setup in my HAF-X (2 overclocked 6850's and an overclocked Q9650).

A 360mm radiator in the top and a 120mm radiator on the back.

I purchased the extra 200mm fan for the top to help cool the radiator.

Keeps everything nice and cool.
