Asus M4A785TD-V Evo AMD 785G (Socket AM3) DDR3 Motherboard
Looking at mobo's and need a little help as I'm a bit bad at understanding them, this one seems to handle crossfire from what I can tell. My intended system will be
(bare in mind this is NOT a spec to be critted, stick with mobo advice please)
haf 922 case (3 fans included, 1 optional 120mm added) total 4 fans
Asus M4A785TD-V Evo AMD 785G Motherboard (unless I change)
AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 965 Black Edition 3.40GHz
Patriot Sector 5 Viper II 8GB PC3-12800 1600MHz Dual Channel DDR3 ram
ATI radeon 5770 1gb vapor-x (will be changed to a better card and xfired later)
Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache
OCZX mod xstreme silent 700w power supply
Sony Optiarc AD-7240S 24x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter
It's a gaming computer obviously and so I want a motherboard with decent features, and overclocking capability but I plan on clocking the cpu from 3.4 to 4ghz and the graphics cards a little, not the ram. Now can anyone advise me what would be the cheapest motherboard that offers a good chance at handling crossfire and overclockin this well? Or basically just verify if the chosen Asus mobo is good/ has some problems. Thanks in advance.
