This Borked?

Me thinks it is

OCZ 2GB 2x1GB PC2-6400C4 Dual Channel Platinum Revision 2 XTC Series DDR2

Only the one stick gone as tested the other for same amount of time and no errors (Will do longer later)

Reckon I could RMA it?

This is all at BELOW stock speeds and timings I belive. If not below then AT STOCK.

Nope, not Overclocked.

It's not on my PC it's my bro's.

One stick didn't error after 25mins whereas this stick had 600+ at 22mins...

Surely he can RMA it?

In that case I'd say send it back from whence it came!

Is the correct volts going thorugh it?

1.9-2.0 Volts

according to spec. Not 1.8v which is default for DDR2.

Yar, twas with 2.1v going through it.

He had problems with WOW and they said test your RAM etc so he did and then he called me when he seen all the red

Got the RAM from here, how do I go about getting another stick? Does anyone know? :confused:

Will try it once more though at 2.15v and 6-6-6-18 at 760mhz because I'm next to 100% sure it still error-ed earlier when I done that...

That's what I thought and why I had to ask...

He's had it a couple of months and it hasn't given any trouble until a couple of weeks ago it brought these errors in WOW

How do I go about RMA'ing the RAM?

Do I have to phone OVerClockers as that's where I bought it or do I go straight to OCZ?

We put it back in to test some more and it's still failing on the one stick.

Also, can I send back just the one stick?

You'll need to return the whole kit.

I would call OcUK and see what they say. They may have to return them to OCZ anyway. So whilst that will take longer than dealing with OCZ direct, you won't have to pay for the insured postage to wherever it is they will be going to (probably the US).
