hi guys, want to upgrade my ageing i5 3750k and this seems like an amazing deal.
I'm currently running an 8gb rx480.

will this combo be good enough for 1080 high detail graphics for most modern games?

I'd probably get slightly faster RAM personally.

That maybe true for the mobo, but the mem controller is in the CPU and RyZen 3000 supports upto 3600mhz, sometimes faster if you get a good chip.

EDIT: it looks like with the latest bios update, that board now supports upto DDR4 4400 https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/...G/Memory_QVL_3rd_Gen_AMD_Ryzen_Processors.pdf

That board is crap for the price.
Even Asrock B450 Pro4 has stronger CPU power circuiry than that brand scam of Asus, which limits upgrade path choises.
Basically any MSI B450 board beats it by one track lap.
