For your above, is this ok? The mobo is capable of 7200mhz. Online checkers seem to infer this combo is ok? Ok be overclocking the 13600k btw.

32GB (2x16GB) Corsair DDR5 Vengeance RGB Black, PC5-57600 (7200), Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 34, XMP 3.0, 1.45V

Thanks for the help.

Is it on the qvl list for the motherboard ?

Why do you need such high frequency if gaming won't be much benefit ?

I believe it is on the list.
Now, a confession, I assumed that as the mobo supports upto 7200 that I need to get RAM that is of the same speed? If not the carse, what sort of spec would I need with gaming and a moderate overclock in mind?

Thanks again.

7200mhz is 'better' but it's kinda marginal compared to say 6000mhz depending on price difference.
Personally id just run is at XMP 7200 and leave it at that, if its stable, and overclock the CPU seperatly.

As a side note, I found overclocking my 13600k to 5.3ghz made hardly any performance difference aside from extra heat and power consumption, so I left mine at stock speed, but undervolted via a negative vcore offset. Same performance but runs a little cooler and uses a little less power.
