Just clicked BBC Northern Ireland news and have seen that a 19 year old from Rathfriland has been killed in a car crash. This has the potential to be quite upsetting as Rathfriland is a very very small 'town' and having went to the only High School there, it could very well be that I was in the same year as this person.

Meanwhile, a teenager was killed after the car he was driving crashed on the Banbridge Road in Rathfriland shortly after 10.40am yesterday.

The victim has been named locally as John Edward McMullan. He was from the Castlewellan area.

Sad for someone so young to die like that.

Thank God it wasn't one of my class mates. Got on with them all.

EDIT: Thanks for the link btw. Wasn't sure if there was much point starting a thread but it's put my mind at ease.
