Hi there, i have a silly irritating problem with my DELL card reader (2407 monitors card reader), it does not work for some reason, its got the yellow exclamation mark in device manager with the message This Device cannot start (Code 10)
ive tried unistalling it, disabling it, reinstalling it with no luck
ive tried deleting the system.inf file and allowing it to rebuild
i tried deleting the usb mass storage device in device manager
i tried another usb port (2.0)
im using windows vista 64 and im pretty certain its vista related, it was working before no problems and also when i plug it in the laptop it works fine, i got a seperate usb card reader which when i plug in the usb port inthe same pc it comes up with the same thing for that card reader too, so it leaves me to believe its o/s related
any ideas?
so frustrating and i dont want to reformat just yet
