hi, just bought me a western digital passport and its 250gb small and so handy,
but recently my laptop started telling me
"this device can perform faster if you plug into a usb2 port"
ive never had any problems till now with this error message
and i know for fact that my laptop is usb2
so why has the message appeared and how to stop it
i presume that if its telling me this then its only using usb 1.1 and im not getting ful potenial from my new passport!

opps almost forgot...sony vaio vgn-fs315m with xp
