My girlfriend works for a semi large Photography store, she is working there to learn a little more about digital cameras as they only really touched on that subject in college, she wants to go to uni next year to do a photography course

anyway....

This is what her boss has offered in the way of discount:

Canon 350D retail at her shop £559 - discount = £5
Canon 20D Retail in her shop £799 - Discount = £10

Both with the 18-55 lens,

She is now refusing to buy it from there she is in two minds as to which camera to buy depending on how cheap she can find them both. Can anyone reccomend any decent online retailers that are cheaper than this?

any help is appreciated.

Thing is the 20D still has the £100 cash back offer running from Canon at the moment, but not sure what the terms of the offer are and what date camera needs bought before.

the cashback on the 20d has ended now. although retail price has just come down by £100 where i work.

anyway, profit margins are tiny on dslr's at the moment because most shops arent buying them in bulk. if she waits till the company makes a big order she will get a better deal.
 
Lol, how very generous of them. Anywhere around the £500 mark for a 350d is a good target these days :)

She is going to filton college to do her HND then finish it off as a degree she still isnt to sure , she is very interested in forensic and medical photography though

I found the 350 for £514
