Im having to spend to much time keep puttung back my clock settings. Eveyr single time my electric goes or I unlug my pc when off it resets the bios.

What Motherboard /chipset do I go for now that has no known problems, if any? The board has to be a good pasivly cooled one with good clocking potential.

Sounds like you cmos button battery is flat buddy.

The mb needs some power to keep the bios data in memory.

Edit: just read your other thread, it seems this board it slightly more troublesome.

Yes its a pain, I had changed he battery this morning but no joy. What im trying to work out is why do I keep getting the problems. I mean I research what I want, it apears to be the best and yet I get problems. This board was to replace my Asus P5N32 E SLI as they killed 6 sticks of Ocz ram at stock voltage and clock. I just want a PC that works.

Iv gone to lengths to get nothink but the best components but still I face such problems.
