This good enough?

Think i have finally decided on the spec i am going to go for. It will be used 50% for video editing and 50% for gaming, the reason i haven't gone for the 2600k is because it is way out of my budget. Also i chose nvidia over ati because of cuda. If there is any things you recommend I change then please tell me.

Looks a reasonable build

You could look at the board below, slightly cheaper, not sure if the Asus offers Ivy Bridge and PCI-E 3.

You could get the msi gtx 570 which is on offer until tomorow, that will save you £20.

cant afford one. will be getting one in around 2 months time.

+ im going to order in around a week so its no use to me :/

hmm a week, well the 1tb hard disks will be almost £100, the i2500 will be just under £200(if the curernt upwards treand continues on ocuk), the psu will be oss, the ram will be £50 as the offer ends tomorrow(may even be more expensive). think that covers the basics

Doubt the 2500K will go up that much!

looks like ill get me the 2500k, WDC Blue and Vengence blue now then.
