In theory, the RTX 4070 Super should perform similarly to the RTX 3080 TI.

It's probably slightly slower than the RTX 3090.

The 4070 super providing you can get one around $600 is a far better deal than a 4070ti for $759.

Another one to consider is the 7800XT if you can get for around $500.

In truth though none of these GPUs are particularly compelling and you should only consider buying if you either don’t have a GPU at all or your GPU is a potato otherwise try and hang on till next gen.

A 4070 Super is basically on par with the 3090. The exception being if you are playing at 4K where the extra RAM and wider bus makes a reasonable difference:
