it's forever alone though..I doubt any snails have exciting lives, its probably perfectly content.
one of my neighbours a few doors along has loads of plants on their balcony, it should find it's way there instead
My god, i still feel a little hungover from Friday night!
Went out for my daughters birthday around 6pm for a meal. Had a few beers and bottles of wine, everyone went home and i stayed out with he boyfriend till around 5am. Saturday was the worst i've felt in a long time, couldn't stomach water or food. Sunday was her actual birthday so had a few more drinks and then wine and then yesterday had a few beers after a dog walk.
I'm not sure there was anything i didn't drink on Friday and it shows the effects of mixing drinks and having a lot of shots vs just drinking a lot of wine/beer like i normally do.

Continuing to drink for the rest of the BH weekend may not have helped
My brother is such an attention ***** 
my cousin in Canada messaged last night to let me know that my aunt had passed away (my dad's sister)
I told my mum who clearly told my brother straight away because a few minutes after, it appeared on his Facebook page.
Not saying it isn't sad, of course it is but he hasn't seen or spoken to her for probably 16 years, when they last came to visit. (We went over there a few times but he didn't come as well)
Why do people feel the need to broadcast everything on Facebook?

We've got an aunt like that. Has to be the first to break news of someone dying on Facebook, though it's usually random celebrities. I've shut that sort of thing right down on Facebook, hardly post any personal feelings or news anymore. Though I guess I hardly post at all now, just check in on it really.

Just been looking at my recent spend and saw about £600 worth of spending at Gap.
Looks like around £300 last Tuesday which went through, then on Friday there was £60 at All Star Lanes in London and then today there's been £350 at Gap and a few orders for Just Eat and some online Ramen place.
Luckily it's not a card i use very often so it was easy to spot the hefty current balance so hopefully Amex make the whole process nice and easy.

set up an alert that any transaction gets a pop up on your phone.

I check often enough, i don't think i could be bothered having a pop up for every transaction. It's a card my wife uses as annoyingly Amex won't let me have a supplementary card on my Vitality card as it's not an option yet.
Also thought my Amex points looked low. Turns out my wife when ordered something saw the option to use points to pay for it, thought it seemed good and clicked yes. Worked out around 10,000MR points for a £35 Dominos!
I know, i've not been bowling in ages either

Best way to redeem points is on airfare, 10k pts for £35 Dominoes, 150k pts get you return business class flight to Japan.

is there a reason petrol stations won't serve you at the window hatch when the doors are open.
like 0 people in the store, the serving hatch is the closest part of the store to the street.
cashier is like waving me to the door, so now I have to walk an extra 20-30 steps to get served.
why? surely it's easier for both to do it at the window and have me hold my card next to the glass to pay.

Maybe it catches you on the CCTV using stolen cards easier
I had the same argument with the esso garage on Westgate road at the weekend.
this was the garage next to st james park.
I actually try to time it so I'm only there when it's window only service but seems one guy decides to not lock the doors until later than the others.
usually I would carry a mask with me if I'm going in a store as well but since I planned on window service I didn't bother. (not that I want to wear one I just do it to be polite and don't believe face coverings really do anything)
the shop door says masks are compulsory as well but seems they aren't

(FYI I'm not on some weird diet to lose weight, I'm trying a particular 'eating style' temporarily to see if it helps some oncoming digestive issues, among other things)
