A nasty looking minefield
As some of you may know from previous threads, I have had **** internet access.


Well I am now getting 30kbps which is a huge improvemnet.


Noticed something wierd though. I was downloading Ghost Recon Advnace warfighter 2 @ 1.02gb.


I was getting a steady 30kbps and loaded up Limewire. I then proceded to try and download 50 different stuff (non did :(). However My Ghost recon speed shot up to 100kbps :eek:

What is this suggesting????

Here is another thing.

Server in steam shows latency of 100 which isnt bad. However when I join I will have a latency of 400+

it will be using 5kbps :( is this normal?

My bad :o

Im on BT Ireland 3071kbps (3mb) and 384Kbps Upload.

I did a Speedtest.net and have got varying results.


The best score I ever got was 2000 :eek: (when I first got it). That was once. Every other time it has been as high as 800 or as low as 22. :o
