I'm a pc gamer, i have been all my life. Lots of people don't understand and I rarely talk about it to anyone.
I built my pc to fit my needs and some think its a bit OTT when they see it but its not for them.
I modded it to have a gpu radiator mounted outside the case, not because i needed to but because i wanted a tiny temperature drop to it being inside.
I mounted it on my wall not because i need to do it but because now its off the floor away from dust and children and because now it looks great floating on the wall and I havent seen any normal person with this.
I used to mine litecoin with it, not for profit really but for the tinkering and trying to learn to deal with the heat of 1 then 2 then 3 then back to 2. I learn't 3 gpu's is too many!
I've moved to a 980ti watercooled, because it was watercooled and in my price range and can use my custom radiator mount again.
My point being - If like me you love messing with your pc dont worry about what forums says is right, do what you want to do.
Sorry having a little moment of clarity and reminding myself why I mess with this thing so often.
