Do you really need a sound card, most onboard are good enough ?

The Corsair Obsidian Series 800D is a full tower case, and is huge - do you really want a case that big when your not water cooling?
Also change the SSD to crucial m4, and you should be looking toward a z68 mobo?

Hi and thanks to you both for replying :)

Yeah I deffo want a soundcard, gaming, movies, music I love them all and I like the model I have chose over an Asus mainly as it has the features I want plus the front panel.

I have chosen the 800D case as this is my 2nd full build and I found my 1st build cramped and cable management really hard .. I love that this case is so big, l love the style and cable management options, the size means good airflow.. and the way I look at it I want to use watercooling but I'm still a bit of a noob when it comes to this, so this case is for the future too and I'll be building my next water-cooled build in it for sure :)

Im going to look into the other items you have listed also the reason I chose a p67 mobo is that I want to overclock the cpu slightly and thats it, I'm not sure why I need a z68 mobo as I have a dedicated gpu in the case and the msi mobo got really good reviews and it keeps things simple for me :) also its quite cheap allowing me to spend in other areas

I love these forums and the valuable advice I get from other members and reading other posts .. Im not buying or building this pc for another month or so so ill keep looking :)

thanks again

i would look at the 700d or maybe even the 650t from corsair as the air flow is better for air cooling and still give you good cable management. unless your looking at watercooling the 800d wont be worth the wonga imo

Get the Z68 case because it has PCI 3.0 and IvyBridge support if nothing else (Next gen GPU And CPU)

Also completely understand the soundcard thing, my Xonar D2 blows onboard sound out of the water...

Change the Mobo and you're set!

You might want to look at the 650D as a possible case though :)

After more research I have decided to ditch the corsair as nice as it appears for a more air friendly CM haf-X I watched a video that suggested the air cooling in the 800D wasnt the best and the CM looks cool also and is cheaper :) Thanks for your advice tho
