this is shocking

I've been looking just now and the board which overclock well with the D, such as the one rakiri has is quite expensive compared to AMD boards..:(

Who cares about noise and power consumption :D

Can't deny that this is quite remarkable for a cpu at this price, it has really turned my head and got me thinking!

how would a P5LD2-VM ASUS mobo cope with the overclocking potential of the 805D?

someone?

Yes i use the asrock 775twins-hdtv mobo it has no voltage controll but you can lock the buses you can use ddr11 or ddr has a pcie x16 my cpu runs at 3.5ghz idle 35.c full load 43.c on stock voltage mobo cost around 40 pounds.
bargin but if you want high ghz then dont get this board but i have heard there might be a bios upgrade so you can tweak the voltage.

Hi mate, could you run a some benchmarks with that mobo such as sisoft sandra, 3dmark etc please? As you say it has no voltage control im worried about that because i wanna clock the crap out of this thing! :)
