This is the plan (watercooling) will it work?

My Plan is to have:

Drive Bay Res - D5 Vario Pump - 5870 - Triple Rad - i7 - Single 140mm Rad

What do you think?
My other plan was to have a Primochill Typhoon 3 and have effectively 2 loops but I am unsure on the quality so I want to be safe and do somthing else.

Yeah, that would work fine. The loop order doesn't matter, as long as pump comes after reservoir. Try to minimise tubing length but otherwise just make sure they're all connected to the loop somewhere.

The typhoon 3 is getting a lot of love from people. I'm not sure I trust it either though, concerned about it starving one of the loops of water.

I think single fan radiators are underused. I've got two 120mm ones in my case, simply because the larger ones won't fit. Temperatures would be a lot worse without them.

hmm that is the question. Overall it comes to £372

This is the question. Would I benefit more from a rad in between cpu and gpu or from getting the better Watercool HK not the LC version?

Am I right in thinking that putting a radiator in between the cpu and gpu in the loop will take away the problem of the gpu load increasing the cpu load.

No. Loop order does not matter. The additional radiator will help, but it makes no difference where in the loop it is.

CPU temperatures are likely to be better with the additional radiator rather than with the better block. If however you want to buy in stages, get the better block now and the extra radiator later as otherwise when you upgrade the cpu block you have to throw the old one out.

Use members market for parts of this, things like radiators just don't change with time. I have two second hand and one new, couldn't tell you which is which. My cpu block and graphics card block are both second hand too.

I almost never buy new watercooling parts now. People like Clone and a few others update their systems so often that you can buy almost new stuff at half price weeks after it's launched. As long as you know what you want, MM is a great place to shop for WC parts.

Thats where ill probably go for any parts, some great bargains to be had on some pretty good kit.

You probably shouldn't have spammed members market. They're not keen on second chances, I've managed to avoid a warning so far and they work to three strikes & you're out so it could be worse. Remaining option is to use the for sale part of another forum or just buy new.

Hows water cooling going setter? I've just bought a kama bay at long last and decided now is a good time to push for more than 4.0 :)

Currently 60 degrees load with two 120 and one 240. They're not very sensibly set up at present, temperatures will improve considerably next time I strip the loop down.
