so im trying to overclock my system and i dont seem to be getting too far. people keep saying 3.4ghz is an easy target to reach, well, not for me

system specs:
C2d e6600
p5b deluxe 1004 bios
2gb corsair xms2 pc2-6400C4
tuniq tower 120
can anyone tell me what im doing wrong? and how i could push this system some more? atm its running a 3.3ghz which some would consider a mild overclock for this setup. ive seen people hit 3.6ghz no problem
