MVG did a video on this on Monday which was posted the in RE8 thread.

Capcom doesn't give a ****.

The problems noted with the cracked version mentioned in the DF vid have now been patched out.
 
Saw this video yesterday and its shocking. Why implement something that actually causes performance issues and ultimately gives a negative impact on the end user.
 
All it took was digital foundry, once again showing how much pull they have in the games development industry.

Capcom has out of the blue announced they will be updated RE8 to fix the performance (probably by removing Denuvo)
 
Not the first time denuvo/drm has caused performance issues in games. Some others that come to mind are batman arkham knight, assassins creed odyssey/origins
