Hello.

Considering these little fellas for my latest build

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-118-KS

I know they're cheap and i am not expecting fabulousness from them; but will they do the job without giving me blue screens and such like?

Basically i need cheap ram to keep me going until i can be bothered to scrape up the cash for better stuff (the bulk of the budget's going on graphics, cpu and motherboard tbh)

If they're no good, can you recommend others?

I am slightly restricted to what i can buy, as i'm plopping a Noctua NH-D14-2011 onto a sabertooth x79; if the ram slots were any closer to the cpu socket they'd BE the cpu socket, so height clearance is an issue and all the ram makers these days want to put towers on top of each module instead of spending the cash on the research and development to get the temps down at chip level. -_-

My priorities are:

1. height clearance. (need em to be oompa loompas, basically)
2. Reliability.
3. cost. (like 16gb for £150 or less)

thanks,
chris.
