As I don't have insurance I got my local bike mot place to pick up my bike do the fork seals and then do a mot for me.

I called them up and everything was done but with extra +£40 on top for some head light switch and other stuff that I would need to pass the mot.

No one called me to ask if wanted the work done and lucky for me it was just £40 so next time I will go some where else :(

I really don't think they done any extra work myself and just scamming money.
 
I have not done my full test yet so can't ride it but was going to get insured with my friend as a named driver so he could for me.

But could not get it so was better to let them pick it up keep things legal.

The bike going to be sold in a few days and changing from a GSX f 600 to an XJ 600 as I could not ride a GSX now after stomach operation it's too heavy and riding position would hurt like hell after a while.

The xj feels like a big 125cc and more up right riding position.
 
I live in Luton and only one bike MOT shop in Luton now as the others have closed down :(

But after I do my full test I can go out of town next I need my MOT.

Birmingham a bit far I think but thank you for the offer :)
